When Valentine’s comes around, I admit, the “love” of it all gets to me. As much as I’d like to brush it off as just another “Hallmark Holiday,” I can’t. I love love. I love the pink and red and white, the hearts and flowers and little boxes of chocolates. I love the sentiment that we take a day to truly express how we feel about loved ones, near and far. Of course we should all live everyday with that kind of love in our hearts, but it doesn’t always happen, right? We get busy and bustling and forget to say those three, sweet words. So I hope you’ll take advantage of this special day and give someone you love and extra kiss and hug, and maybe one of those cute little boxes of chocolates, too. Just because.
