I first met the O family when Jake was just 9 days old. Sigh. He’s now a big brother to a beautiful sister, Lindsay Faythe. I have so enjoyed capturing the milestones for the O family over the past two years. They are the sweetest family, and their love for each other and their children is something that can be seen from a mile away.
This was such a unique session – Kate brought along some really lovely heirlooms to include in Lindsay’s portraits. We included this beautiful image of her great grandmother from whom she gets her middle name. I can’t get over how much Kate takes after her grandmother…just beautiful. She also brought along a couple of handmade blankets and outfits that were hers when she was a baby. It was really fun finding a way to incorporate them into the session. It’s interesting to me how much knitted hats have made a comeback over the last few years – this hat below could be straight from an esty seller!
