Welcome sweet baby Thatcher – future Red Raider – to my Castle Rock studio!
One of the favorite parts of my job is meeting new people and finding incredible human connections. I love finding out more about my clients, and hearing their stories. As I quickly learned during this session, it turns out Thatcher’s mom, dad, grandma, and auntie are all Texas Tech alums, just like me! Immediately we bonded, discovering so many things in common. We talked about favorite Lubbock restaurants, Texas Tech football, and all things Lubbock during our time together. Thatcher’s grandma and I both studied with the same dance teachers at once time, too! Small world! Oh yeah, and we captured these beautiful images of their sweet fella, too! He was an absolute joy to photograph. I love the personal touches mom brought to the studio – the deer sheds, the colorful shawl, the soft fur that was a gift upon Thatcher’s arrival, and of course, that darling boy. We had the best time together, and I look forward to seeing them all again in the future! I see a Red Raider set up for the next session – wreck ’em Tech!!
