Castle Rock Colorado Photographer – 2023 Portrait Session Year In Review
One of my favorite things to do at the end of the busy season (besides naps, glorious naps!) is to take a trip down memory lane and sift through all the amazing sessions I’ve had the honor of capturing this year. It reminds me of the incredible and loving families I’ve had the honor of serving, and shows me what I hope to build upon for the year ahead. I know for certain I want to photograph more smiles, more joy, more love. I want to include more of the in-between moments when my families are laughing and snuggling. I want to focus on creating more art from my newborn sessions – classic, artful portraits that will last for generations. I want my seniors to have portraits they AND their mamas love to share. I want milestones that are creative, joyful, and real. And I want more cake smash messes to clean up because that’s my favorite kind of mess!
If I photographed you and your family this year, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me be a part of your year and your memory-making. I thank you for choosing me and my small business to document your most special moments. I thank you for tagging me in your photos, for sharing your holiday and birth announcement cards with me, and for being a part of my life as well. You celebrated my life milestones as well – thank you for asking about my own children and family, and for letting me share my pride with you. So many of my clients have become friends, and that is one of the greatest joys of my job. Thank you for being a part of my 2023! I cannot wait to share more adventures with you in the year ahead!
