Newborn photography sessions take place in my home studio in The Meadows, Castle Rock, designed for comfort and relaxation. The studio features multiple backdrop options and a carefully curated collection of hats, wraps, blankets, and props to personalize your session. Every item is sanitized and chosen with your baby’s safety in mind. With over 16 years of experience, I have extensive training in newborn safety and posing. Your baby’s well-being is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure a safe and soothing environment. I handle each newborn with the same care and patience I would my own.
When to Book Your Newborn Session:
To ensure availability, I recommend booking your newborn session before your baby arrives. I’ll reserve your due date on my calendar as a placeholder, and once your little one is here, we’ll schedule the actual session within the first two weeks of life—this time frame ensures those sleepy, curly photos you see on my website. BUT don’t fret if you decide to schedule when your baby is a little older! I’ve photographed babies at all ages and stages and respect the choices families make for their session timing.
Sessions typically last 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feedings, diaper changes, and cuddles. You’ll receive a detailed session guide to help you prepare, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
