This is my 3rd year photographing this awesome family here in Castle Rock. I’ve had so much fun getting to know them over the years, and I’m happy to now call them friends. As I’ve watched the little ones grow over the years it has truly been a joy watching their personalities come through. Ian is very serious with a dash of silly, and Ellia is very silly with a dash of serious. A perfect combination! And for this session we got a little bonus – Grandma flew into town to be a part of the session! I love capturing grandparents with their grands – it’s something they will all treasure for generations. It is a true testament to the lasting beauty of a photograph.
We met up at a new extension of the East Plum Creek trail in Castle Rock last Sunday afternoon. I was thrilled the leaves were still around and in their full golden beauty.
