M Family | Blessed

The M family is quite dear to me. You see when I moved to Colorado almost 8 years ago I knew not a soul in our new little town of Castle Rock. Fortunately I found a group of friends who became like family to me via our weekly playdates with our little ones. This was before I had a business. Before any of us even had a second (or third) child. My beautiful friend Carissa – seen here- is a part of that small group of friends. She has become such a dear friend to me, and in turn her family is like family to me. I treasure the friendship I have with them.

Carissa is also one of my biggest cheerleaders. I remember shyly showing her my first photography blog 4 years ago – I was going to give this thing a go, even if I had no idea what I was doing. She encouraged me, cheered me on, and provided me with models (her beautiful children) to practice my craft on. Eventually I brought Carissa on last year as a creative source for my packaging. She has been my package creator ever since – and not a client has ever not exclaimed the beauty of her work. So my dear friend C – thank you for your friendship, your love, your support, and your bursts of amazing creativity. Here’s to so many more years of friendship ahead.

Oh yeah, and how GORGEOUS is her family I ask?!
