As graduation approaches, I’m thrilled to share some of the exceptional seniors I’ve photographed this year with a special Senior Spotlight! I’m so happy to shine the spotlight on one of “my” exceptional 2025 seniors, Samuel D, from Littleton High School! Samuel’s journey through high school has been nothing short of incredible, filled with dedication, adventure, and impressive achievements. And now he is set to take off—literally—at the University of North Dakota, where he will be pursuing their esteemed Aviation Program. His passion for flying is evident, and he’s already setting ambitious goals for his future. Not only does he plan to obtain as many flying certifications as possible, including tailwheel plane, seaplane, and aerobatic endorsements, but he also looks forward to earning his Certified Flight Instructor’s rating so he can help his dad get current on his pilot’s license! The love of flight runs in the family!
Samuel’s high school experience has been marked by perseverance and success. Having attended five different schools in five years, he has made lasting friendships that date all the way back to kindergarten. His involvement in Boy Scouts has also been a defining part of his journey, culminating in achieving the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout in January of his junior year—a testament to his leadership and commitment. 
As if that weren’t impressive enough, he reached another milestone in January of his senior year by earning his private pilot’s license! Yes, Samuel is a licensed pilot now! Reflecting on his path, Samuel shares that choosing a college was a tough decision – he was accepted into several top-tier aviation programs. Ultimately, the University of North Dakota stood out as the perfect place to chase his dreams of soaring higher.

On a personal note, I’ve known Samuel for many, many years, and I know he will excel in this adventurous path he has chosen. Congratulations, Samuel! Your drive, dedication, and adventurous spirit will undoubtedly take you to great heights—both in the air and beyond.
