Taylor was just a day shy of 3 weeks when she came to visit me in my studio. Though I typically photograph newborns in the first two weeks of life, Taylor proved she could hang with the younger kids and totally slept like a dream for her session. Taylor’s mama brought along a beautiful heirloom locket that belonged to Taylor’s namesake, her great grandmother. How beautiful is that? If you look closely at the first set of the images below you’ll notice she’s clutching the locket. I love when clients bring a little something extra special to a session. It fills my heart, and my hope is that image in particular will bring them joy for generations, just like the locket itself has.
